As the issues of credit and credit repair dominate the financial news in the United States, a report filed recently by the Economic Times slipped under the radar to an extent, even though the long-term implications of it could be quite troubling for the world economy. The article detailed the projected credit card spending in India, and that spending is expected to skyrocket in the coming years.
“In the last two years, the spending pattern through plastic money has changed drastically. Travelling, dining and jewellery are the top three purchases that Indians make through credit cards. Two years ago, it was jewellery and apparel purchases that formed the largest chunk of purchases through plastic money.
Fuel accounts for a very small portion of credit card purchases as it is largely paid through debit cards. The credit card companies say consumers spend Rs 50,000 crore annually, which is expected to grow at 50% over the next 4-5 years.”
As you see, credit is becoming a worldwide problem, but you do have options. If you are in need of credit repair, contact the credit repair attorneys at Smith & Garg today to schedule an initial consultation.
